Smead products review

I received several Smead products via Shoplet.com to write another review on office supplies.

The first one is a Step Index Organizer. It has 12 pockets, holds up to 600 pages, and has inserts A-Z, monthly or blank for your convenience when it comes to keeping organized.

Its made from a very durable, waterproof poly material. Love the textured feeling of it. Also has where you can write in an itemized list of what's inside. I do think its a little higher in price than I would pay, but it is thorough.

A Sharpie marker. What can I say? It's permanent and black. Like you'd expect. We use these for writing order numbers on my husbands orders awaiting shipment. I do like the fine point though. Looks neater when I write with it. I'm assuming they sent it to use in reference to another product with an erasable feature. More to come on that though....

FasTab Hanging Erasable Folders are great for the ever-changing needs of your office.

They have an erasable label so you can easily change what's in the folder without the tossing-it-out and getting a new one hassle. They are reinforced and durable for longer lasting use.

You use the white polymer eraser to erase it. They come in a variety of colors.

I'm really liking the Smead Erasable SuperTab File Folders. Write on them with permanent marker, then erase them with the hi-polymer eraser when you need to label that folder differently. There are 24 to the pack with 1/3 cut tabs. It's not compatible with ball point pens so make sure to always use the markers. Works with number two pencils as well. Besides being practical, they are made here in the US. Support home-based economics and also save on the waste of more trees being cut down. Reduce, reuse, recycle, right?

Lastly, I have the Vertical File Folders. There are 6 per pack, they fit in most drawers, are closed on two sides, and even fit in your backpack. What is the difference between these and other types of folders? You can organize your documents the same way you read them. Upright, means that you can find what you are looking for with more ease and comfort than looking for something sideways.

It takes a little effort, but it does come off!

It's time for another Shoplet.com review! They sent an Avery binder this time with tabs. Heavy Duty View Binder with One-Touch EZD Rings, Index Maker Clear Label Dividers with Color Tabs, and the Index Maker Clear Label Dividers with White Tabs to be exact.

You know I'm all for organization, and this is just one of the ways I get there!
Binders with tabs help you keep subjects separated, help you sort through files that are on paper, and allow you quick access to what you are searching for.

 I let my husband use this binder for his Lego part lists. Fun fact: for every part that Lego releases, they retire one. However, you can still find those old parts. The lists for these parts are long! So he breaks them up into categories first. Avery products in general are amazing.

They have templates online that match perfectly, helping you get through the process of creating your labels without the hassle of changing settings on the printer or trying to figure out sizes. With these labels, we were able to put in the words we wanted for each label. Then customize to make them bold. The strips of red in between are so you can peel a whole row and stick them on your lined up tabs for easy, precise and ready-to-go dividers.

Everything is done except putting in the words. I don't have much time and what little I do have is carefully put to use. There are multicolor tabs or the clear label dividers to choose from. I prefer the color label dividers. But then, I'm a colorful person! I like to brighten things up.

 

The binder is easily a one-handed use kind. No tugging and pulling required. I prefer those as I'm usually busy and wishing I had more hands anyhow to keep up with everything. You can view the binder at the attached link.

Having everything organized and ready to use. That's how my office is supposed to be. That's how I try to keep my home. I have lists all over the refrigerator. I have everything in a neat place. Okay... mostly. I am OCD and everything has to be organized to some extent.
Well, now I have a new list keeper. Thanks to Shoplet.com, I have a new 3-in-1 Planner.

Its an easy-to-erase white board that allows me to write in the month/days, hang notes with the magnets, or pin them up with thumb tacks. It's large enough not to get lost in the maze of things on the wall. It catches everyone's attention, allowing messages and deadlines to be met more efficiently.
There were instructions on proper care of the white board as well as instructions on how to properly hang it and attach the components.

These are great if they are followed. If you are like my husband though, you might just figure it out on your own (even if it takes a little longer).
This is a great way to leave notes and keep the family on track. You can add your own little designs and quirks to personalize it. Definitely a great addition to the office or home.

Shoplet.com is hosting another review. This time it's for office supplies from Saunders.

 The small clipboard is perfect for my husbands inventory pages.

It's portable, durable, and has a strong clip. It's also a good size for shopping lists.

I've used it to hold coupons and my list while at the store. It's made from 100% recycled/recovered materials so you are getting into the earth-friendly products zone from the USA.
The Storage Clipboard is going to be mine.

Partially because it's pink (let's show our support against breast cancer!) and my husband said absolutely not when he saw it. But this little office pal is going to help me stay organized. I can keep spare paper and pens inside while I carry it around. It's a light feeling but firm plastic. So it won't collapse as I write on it but it won't weigh me down. It snaps closed to protect the things stored inside.
Saunders is an American company that makes their products here. They employ blind folks to make some products which is a great way to include physically handicapped people in the productive fields.
The UHU glue style pen is fun.

I loved the vibrant fairy designs and colors. It also comes with a mini photo frame. I'm gluing in style! It's solvent free, so there aren't any strong odors. It sticks fast and doesn't wrinkle the paper. It comes in an ergonomic form to allow for easy carrying in a pencil case or if you're a mom - your purse. Another great thing, especially for parents, it washes out with cold water. We made a special card for my husbands dad with the kids.

They had a blast. And the mess was minimal.

Its so easy for them to handle.

There is a regular UHU glue stic as well that my kids loved using.

And my husband is thrilled with the UHU tac. These are little adhesive strips that hold things in place. He plans to put some under his desk mat and other office supplies so they can't slide when he uses them or so they don't get up and walk away anymore....

First we have the iPad holder case.

I love how well padded it is. Its comfortable to carry around.

It also has built in bumps that allow it to become a stand so you can go hands free.

There are two landscape positions to choose from. It's compatible with 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation iPads.

The front cover is magnetic allowing it to snap closed and shut off the iPad to save your battery. Likewise, when you open the cover you wake up your iPad. It comes with debossed diamond designs and bright colors to match your style.

It has the cutouts so you can still take pictures, plug in and access controls without having to remove the case. Overall, its great for protecting your iPad, looking great, and serving multiple purposes.
The next office supplies product I have to show you is the Office Binder with Label Holder. I use binders for so many things. I have one for my coupons, recipes, instruction manuals... They are pretty much everywhere in my home. I decided to test this one out for my new recipe book. It's sturdy. I love that I can open and close it single handedly. I'm often holding something or someone with my other hand so I can't deal with multitasking without a little help. There is a place on the side for your personalized label so you can clearly see what you have inside without opening it.

There is a pocket on the inside for loose sheets as well.

It opens on the left side with the curved spine that optimizes the ergonomics and prevents the spine from cracking and breaking quickly like others have a tendency to.

It’s time for another review via Shoplet.com! This time it’s for a Desk Pad.

Consider it like a mouse pad on a larger scale. It fits my husband’s keyboard and mouse on. This helps keep things in place so they don’t go sliding all over the place as it has an anti-skid, suede-like backing. It also provides a flatter surface in case you have a makeshift desk like ours that has tiles on it. I love that it’s smooth, sturdy and black but has a low-glare satin black finish. It's easy to wipe off if you get something on it. It goes well in our office and is useful. It’s a large enough size to fit the important things. I also like that it protects your desk.

Shoplet.com has once again sent products to review. These are office supplies by Fellowes, designed to add comfort and ease to your office experience.

One of the products I received was the Laptop Riser. As you may know, typing daily is something most people do as technology has taken over most homes. However, typing with your wrist laying flat has given way to concerns of developing carpal tunnel. One suggestion is to raise the wrist at an angle. This lift helps you do so comfortably by tilting the laptop forward.

The angle is a little steep for me. I do like that it is a light weight plastic. It has grips in the front that keep the laptop from sliding off the lift. Make sure if you do use it that you hold the laptop with one hand as you lift it open with the other. I find one-handed use doesn't work well as it pulls the laptop off the stand (as a mom, I had to try, you know).

I like that it keeps the laptop cool by keeping it up. The fan won't be blocked by anything and can circulate the air as needed. It also has grips on the bottom to keep it from sliding around.

The other product I received was the Document lift with dry erase surface. This is a multi-function office item that I absolutely LOVE!

First, it can be used as a dry erase board. It's portable and strong, but still light.

It also wipes off easy without leaving a stained appearance behind.

Add the clip to the top, and it instantly transforms into a clipboard.

Add the stand at the bottom and you have a document holder that allows you to work/type while checking your document at the perfect level. All hands-free! It comes with the three pieces that are easily assembled as well as disassembled.

The stand is heavy enough to keep it stable. It has grips on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. This is great for in the office. As I type, I can have my page clipped and ready for me to glance at as needed.

I really love that I can take it apart and on the go easily. It has three uses that I need often. I use the dry erase board for leaving messages and for teaching my boys at home. My husband uses the document stand for pulling orders or adding to his inventory without having to look down at the paper all the time. And I can run through my lists while on the go with the clipboard function.
