All you need is:
Cheese (any kind you like)
1 package of buttermilk biscuits
and about 1 lb of ground beef
You will need a cup cake pan and stone pan to bake them with.
I put it on 350 degrees.
I put the beef in my stone pan and put it in microwave for about 7 or 8 minutes.
Then you take it out and put cheese on it. Let it melt on the beef while you put the 8 buttermilk biscuits into the cupcake pan. I used a brownie pan and split the biscuit dough so that I had tops and bottoms. I put the beef with cheese onto the buttermilk biscuits and then I cover it with the the biscuits I had separated. Put it in the oven for about 10 mins or until it turns a golden brown. My kids love them. Enjoy!

Oh those cravings....
Ever have a craving for something that you couldn't explain? And no, I don't mean when you are pregnant. I came home one night with the thought of fresh brownies. Or chocolate cake. I really wanted some. My husband had the Freshly Picked Strawberries candle burning and instant ramen in the microwave. Now don't ask me why, because I still haven't been able to wrap my head around it, but I thought the smell was too close to that of freshly baked brownies. Suddenly I wanted to bake. But being that I'm moving, I don't have much in the way of baking supplies piled up like normal. I had a cake mix though. So I went online to do some research. I found a recipe that used a cake mix, 1 egg, and 1/2 a cup of butter to make cake mix cookies. On top of that, I had Hershey kisses and M&M's.
They came out so well (yes, I'm so proud!).
Have a recipe to share? Email it to me at texanmama08 at gmail dot com. I'll share it and possibly try to make it as well.

My cheesy pasta and beef casserole recipe
The other
night I found myself standing in front the pantry surveying what groceries I
had left. In the refrigerator, I had a pound of ground beef thawed out. So I
was now trying to decide what to cook with it. I came up with the following and
it pleased even my pickiest of eaters. Enjoy!
What you will
need:
1 package of pasta (I used penne)
2 cans cream of celery
1 lb ground beef
Chopped onion (however much your family likes)
Garlic salt and herbs of your choice
About a half of a block of cheese shredded
1 can of mixed vegetables
1 package of pasta (I used penne)
2 cans cream of celery
1 lb ground beef
Chopped onion (however much your family likes)
Garlic salt and herbs of your choice
About a half of a block of cheese shredded
1 can of mixed vegetables
Cook and
drain the pasta as well as the ground beef. Spray 13 x 9 inch pan. Combine
pasta, ground beef, cream of celery, chopped onion, vegetables, and some of the
cheese in the pan. Sprinkle the garlic salt and herbs on top. Spread remaining
cheese over all. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven on 400 for about
20 minutes or so until the cheese is completely melted and everything is hot.
I’d normally
add bell peppers and chopped tomato as well, but I didn’t have any on hand.
Leave me a comment if you try it and how your family liked it!

DaVinci Gourmet review
Everyone may not be gourmet in the kitchen. But with a little help, they can still make a gourmet treat. DaVinci Gourmet provides specialty syrups to add that yummy element to so many things.
Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, deserts and even entrees can be transformed into something to excite your taste buds with just a little something extra. They have tons of recipes you can check out on their website. For those looking to keep on the healthier path they offer the sugar-free syrups.
DaVinci Gourmet sent me several flavors to try. Sugar-free Caramel was so good in my hot chocolate! It adds a rich flavor and I only put about a teaspoon in my cup. My kids and husband were drinking up my hot chocolate as soon as I finished stirring it! The delicious smell that rose with the steam drew them in.
Then for breakfast one morning we decided to make pancakes. As a treat, I added about a tablespoon (or two) into the mix. We had yummy caramel pancakes that my boys wanted seconds and thirds... and fourth and fifth helpings of.
They also sent Vanilla, Hazelnut, Sugar-free Chocolate, Zero calorie Kahlua. They have so many flavors to choose from! I plan to dazzle up my brownies next... So check them out and tell me what you think about the products and recipes.
