Avery product reviews via Shoplet.com

Shoplet.com recently sent me some Avery office products to try and write a review about.
First up, is the Flexi-View Presentation Binder. I love the title page pocket in the cover that allows me to put a page or picture in the front. That way I know what the binder contains. There is also a sleeve in the back cover to hold a few extra pages. So if you were using this for a presentation, you could put a title page in the front, your presentation inside, and pages to hand out in the back. There are even slots in the back sleeve to hold your business card so your binder can be recognized as yours. Its also a flexible binder. Rigid binders can have a tendency of bending/breaking in the middle if something heavy gets placed on top. With a flexible binder, however, no worries of that happening. It makes it a little more compact too for carrying on the go. Personally, I think this binder is great for keeping recipes in. Wipe off the cover if it gets messy, separate the types of recipes... Sounds like a winners plan to me!
In addition to the binder, were Ready Index Durable Table of Contents Dividers. I'm all about being organized, and these definitely keep me organized. They are "3 ways stronger": stronger, heavier paper, stronger tab reinforcement, and double-sided hole reinforcement. The more durable the paper - the less likely it will be to weaken and rip during use. The tabs are reinforced to keep them from falling off over time and through wear. And my favorite? Double-sided hole reinforments on the tabbed dividers. Why? How many times have my pages fallen out over time because the holes got ripped?? Its a pet peeve of mine. So I love having them reinforced. These have 8 tabs per pack. Dividers are also made of 30% post-consumer recycled paper. Let's remember to recycle and reuse right? One more benefit to these; they can be used in portrait or landscape orientation. For those who don't understand geek speak - straight up and down, or laying on the side. You can create the table of contents at: avery.com/library.
My next favorite product in the group would have to be the Printable Tags with Strings. There are 96 tags on 12 sheets with 100 strings. Oh the possibilities... For small businesses, you could print price tags to label your merchandise with. You can get the free templates and designs to help you prepare your tags at avery.com that do not require software downloads. They have templates that match the product number. These tags print to the edge creating a premium professional look. These are perforated keeping them professional and easy to separate. They are also double-sided cardstock to optimize the richness in colors. The tags come with quick-latch fasteners that make it easy to assemble them.
They can come quite handy. You can tag gifts, label products you are selling, or as I did - make labels for traveling. In case my luggage gets misplaced or lost, there is a name and number to contact.
And I can edit each individual tag for various people instead of all of them being the exact same.
Next up are Print-to-the-Edge Round Labels. They come on 10 Glossy White pages that carry 120 labels. Each one is 2" in diameter. Again, templates are available through the Avery website.
I also love the fact that Avery is an Official Box Tops for Education Brand. They have box tops on their products that you can use to support your school. And the packaging is recyclable on these!
I used these to make stickers to promote my blog. Absolutely LOVE how they came out!
And finally we come to the Tri-Fold Brochure with tear-away cards. My husband and I used these to create coupons for those who had ordered several times from his online Lego selling hobby/business.
It was fast and easy (well, minus the time we debated on what to say and how to present them). The template on the Avery website made everything so simple.
I hope you enjoyed this review and got some ideas of your own on things you might have a use for from these wonderful Avery products. Remember to check out Shoplet.com and see what else they have to offer for your small business, home organization, or office needs! Leave me a comment on what you think.

Deflect-o Cubes via Shoplet.com review

I'm sure by now you all know how much of a neat freak, organizer I am. Everything gets a place of its own. I like knowing exactly where to go when I need something. So you can imagine I was pretty excited when Shoplet.com offered me the chance to test out another product they have on their website of office supplies; Deflect-o Cubes.
I decided my office desk needed an organizational makeover. It's where things usually get tossed for me to deal with later.
These Cubes have little rounded indents with clips included so you can clip them together and keep everything stabilized.
You can get multiple kinds. I received the Deflect-o Two Drawer Cube Organizer, Desk Cube with X Dividers, and 2 kinds of Desk Cubes with 4 and no drawer options. I love that they are somewhat clear so you can see what you have but also have a blurred texture that gives some discretion. The open fronts give you quick access to your office supplies. Perfect way to keep organized!
Shoplet now also offers promotional products that you might be interested in. Its things that can personalize your business. #shopletreviews

Pentel Pens via Shoplet.com review

Everyone uses pens. Everyday we have to write things. Letters, lists, love notes... Or perhaps if you are creative you might write stories, books, and poems. I love to write. Almost as much as I love reading. But not every pen is created equal. I like trying out different pens to see what feels best in my fingertips as I write. I find I prefer to have a smooth ink as it makes your writing look of a higher quality. Gel ink rolls out with the stroke of your letters. It also has a tendency to keep the pen from getting caught on the paper and potentially tearing a hole in it. Pentel sent me a few of their pens and a mechanical pencil to test out for a review. You can find these and other office supply products at Shoplet.com. Shoplet.com offers many office supplies to satisfy your needs.
I received the Pentel EnerGel X Roller Ball Retractable Gel Pens in several colors as well as the EnerGize X Mechanical Pencil. They are sleek with each one having a clip (nerds like these for pockets!). They have grips for your fingertips to grab on as your hands translate what you brain submits. Besides the normal black and blue ink pens they also have the neon colored pink, neon orange, red, light blue, green and purple. Each of the colors matches the ink inside. This is helpful when you go to grab a pen but need a specific color. The bright colors are wonderful for creative writing. I like to write letters but a boring paper with black or regular blue ink on it is just that sometimes. Red is a color I use for adjustments, grading and editing.
I like that each of these gel pens comes with an easy to remove seal on the end. This way the ink doesn't get shaken out or leak before you use it. I also like the vividness of the colors and how smooth the ink flows. Call me a dreamer but my ink glides! I prefer retractable pens to pens with lids. When I'm in a hurry, I like to "close" up my pen before running off. It's a bit of an OCD tick of mine. It's like leaving something partially undone.
While I like the grips on the pens, these seem to be a little thin on the grip-able side. They are too smooth. This can be a problem for someone like me who writes a long amount of time per sitting and sometimes my hands get a little clammy or sweaty... With weak grips my hands might slide forcing me into a break I'm not wanting to take.
Compared to other pens I've used in the past, these are really nice overall.
Some other perks to these pens would be that the grips are latex-free. So if you have an allergy to latex, you can still still enjoy the non-slip pens. These pens are refillable. Pentel refill packs are also sold on Shoplet.com. They are a part of Recycolgy, which means they are made from a minimum of 50% recycled materials excluding consumable content (ink) and refills (again the ink). The pens in particular are made of 84% recycled plastic. Great way to keep some plastic out of the landfills.
***These items were sent to me for free for the purpose of this review. I was not reimbursed in any other way nor was I told what to say. These are my opinions alone.***
