Smile Brilliant is More Than the Name of a Company (Discount and giveaway included!)

Oral hygiene and health is very important to me, as an individual as well as a mother. I want to do all I can to prolong our smiles. Not an easy task with children, but I'm not alone. I have some help from Smile Brilliant.

Products I've tried and love

I recently reviewed their kids' Plaque Highlighters. I loved using it as my kids need to be trained to better brush their teeth. They have a tendency to miss a lot of spots. Going to the dentist is a pain for all of us because of that. 

I was recently contacted by them about doing some product reviews. I've had previous good experiences with them, so I couldn't resist. Besides, these are products that have some amazing results.

The probiotics I have tried before and absolutely loved. I have been learning that prohiotics have more benefits than just strengthening your teeth against plaque build up. It builds up your immunity as well. Then you have better breath (especially in the morning!) and better gum health. I am also happy to report that the taste is better than I expected. Most tablets are just too chalky and that covers any flavor that they might have had. These, are a wonderful pomegranate berry flavor. They also have dental probiotics for kids. They boost immunity for oral and sinus health in a natural way.

Being someone who grinds their teeth, I could, and should, be using a night guard. But I haven't put in the effort to get one. Smile Brilliant creates one specialized for your own mouth by having these kits available to make molds of your teeth. That way, it will fit like a glove while protecting your teeth! You are less likely to feel irritated by it. You don't have to pay for dental appointments either. 

I had made a video on the process of making the mold, but can't seem to locate that. So I'm showing you the finished project for now. I love that it is pliable and comes in a case. I can store it and take it on trips with me without worrying of damage.

Color in Kids is the Perfect Gift for the Creative Kid! (+ giveaway)

I have been searching for things that make perfect gifts this Christmas. Especially things that enhance creativity in children. That is why I'm so very happy to introduce you to Color in Kids. More than a shirt, it is a chance to let kids be artistic over and over.

I absolutely love things that give kids a chance to express themselves. And if they can do so more than once - well, even better! These shirts can be colored, worn, washed and the cycle repeated! There are so many styles to choose from. 

This Christmas and for all the gift giving events that follow - do you have a child on your list that has everything already?  Why get something they will be bored with after the first use? Speaking from experience, I have watched all my kids get something and be bored with it after only a couple weeks. This can be a toy they begged for, for months! But then came to realize it wasn't what they wanted long term. At least with these, they are practical and the kids can change it up after each wash! 
They also get to put their name to it. It is their own masterpiece, as unique as they are. 

Some even glow in the dark! 

As I mentioned before, there are plenty of options to choose from. Including glow in the dark designs and metallic designs.  My favorite glow in the dark shirt is the Rocket. This is the one my younger son chose. (It glows really well!)

 It is so much fun! As are the metallic designs. They have metallic silver worked in to add a cool effect to the designs. This one looked like so much fun! My older daughter picked it out. To her, it was pretty because it was "shiny".

My daughter was thrilled to add color to the sparkle, being the princess that she is. 

I came from Florida and have family back there, so these designs caught my eye as I thought of them! I still love the sea and the things portrayed from it.

 They are all so cool. Even I could wear some of these and feel fabulous! 
Remember to wash in hot water to get the colors out and create a blank canvas for the kids. I had forgotten and washed in cold (which is what I wash our clothes in normally) so not all the color came out. Plus, some colors like red, leave a ghost color behind when the kids push too hard.

But even so, it was light enough that the kids didn't complain. They said they would color over it and create new works of art! 

Little Miss Bedhead couldn't wait to color with Mommy this morning. She loved her "horsey". Something I hadn't realized, was that the cardboard that the markers was attached to could actually be used inside the shirt while the kids colored to make sure they didn't bleed through to the back. Just a helpful tip from the company!

Take away is, these non-toxic materials provide hours of fun that happens over and over. It promotes creativity. And by purchasing these, you are supporting a smaller business who supports great causes. My kids loved theirs so much, they have been asking for more!

Quality and sizes are impressive. 

As a Mom of 4 kids, I look for quality in gear that I buy. As one kid outgrows something, there is a second-fourth child who may get use out of it. I take into consideration that my kids might be a little more rough on things than they were meant to handle. Kidorable products seem to withstand that challenge still, as I have seen so far. This shows me that they are high quality and will last a good while. On top of that, sizes can be tricky for us. My kids are on the tall size of the spectrum, which means longer torsos, longer legs and longer fingers. Yep - model material! So shopping for them can be... tiresome. As infants, at least two of them couldn't even wear the baby mittens. Their hands just didn't fit into them. So how well did the knitwear work for my daughter? Perfectly! I went with a size large and her hands fit just right. The hat also fits well, covering her ears from the cold. The scarf is long enough to not only reach around her neck, but even goes to her waist! I also like that the scarf can hold the mittens while out of use in a little pocket. It makes keeping them together while storing them super easy.

What else do they offer? 

Besides amazingly cute umbrellas that stand out in the crowd, and knitwear that inspire daydreams, they have towels, backpacks and rain gear. All of them being unique. And everything sparking imaginative thinking. They can be a knight who battles fierce dragons or a fairy princess! Items like these also give your kids a way to stand out. Let's Make Boobs Easier! (+discount and giveaway!)

Fashion should be comfortable. And easy. Especially if you are like me. I don't like being uncomfortable, no matter how gorgeous I look. I also don't like flashing my "headlights". I'm a human Popsicle, so just imagine me in a cold room. No one needs to see my perkiness! That is where Boob-eez comes in to help!

Where did Boob-eez get its beginning?

Boob-eez was created by a young girl coming to terms with her body. She wanted to make boobs "easier". Let's face it, we ladies have all had those moments. In my younger years, I started wearing only padded bras to avoid.... pointiness from showing. But of course those bras are all underwire ones. Which is not always very comfortable. 

In my later years, I now avoid wearing bras unless I know I need to go somewhere or I know I'm going to have someone stopping by. Mostly because of my back pains being so fickle. More than once have I opened the door to receive a package or because the neighbors came knocking - just to have to keep my arms folded to hide that undignified fact that I was missing an undergarment. Oh that I had the Headlight Hiders on hand for those days.... 

I have always avoided wearing those camisole tops with built in bras. At least, I wouldn't wear them unless I wore other shirts with them. Or even wore an actual bra underneath... Sports bras, while working out, have to be worn only at home. All because I can't have my headlights showing. 

We have all been there at some point. 

And that is where this young girl brought us a revolutionary product. She designed the Headlight Hiders that are better than stick-ons. More comfortable. Dependable. And best of all? Invisible! They are made to lay flush with your skin so that they don't show. There are two sizes to choose from: 6 or 8CM. 

They fit perfectly! Went on easily, didn't peel off as easily (which I was happy for) and laid flush so that you couldn't see them. With these, I can wear my workout bra without worrying about an outline. I can wear more form fitting tops without the need of a bra. When would I want this most of all? How about the days when my back pain has me not wanting to wear a bra at all! 

But she didn't stop there. She created bras and tops too. The bandeau, bralette and stick-on bra are to give you coverage from underneath. While the cami, racerback layering tank and tube top keep it smooth, but fashionable on the outside! I couldn't believe how soft and comfortable they felt. I could live in them and never wear anything else... 

I really enjoyed the racerback bralette. The material is incredibly soft. Even more so than the Barely There brand I've tried before. It does not hug too tightly, but stretches perfectly with me. Even on my worse days, I think I can manage wearing this one. 

The front-to-back cami is of the same material as the bralette. And I love it! My personal style wouldn't mind it being slightly bigger, though it would work under a loose top just fine. I wear confidence as boldly as I can, but tight-fitting tops still give me pause as I try to loose the baby blubber. This would be the best tank to wear for working out, sleeping - everything, every day! 

I sent the lace back bandeau to my fashionista sister. I love getting her feedback on things like this.  She's in her late teens and is quite the diva, so she knows all about style.

These products were all One Size. I'm currently and XL (to give you an idea of the models size).

Down here in Texas, we have been battling rain every week for the past couple months. We have a giant umbrella, but the little lady often gets stuck outside its reach since the boys and I take longer strides. This way, she can keep covered without having to run to keep up!  

But the rain isn't the only thing she needs the cover for. The sun can be brutal as well. Blinding rays that freckle the skin and heat you up. This umbrella protects her from it all! 

But that is not all they offer!

Bagblaze website review and giveaway

I was recently contacted by Bagblaze to check out their updated website and host a review.

They revamped their website and made internal changes to provide better service to their customers. They offer quality products at steep discounted rates. What makes them different from their competitors? They keep their inventory in a controlled warehouse so they have less mistakes when it comes to shipping products out. Right now they have a special running. Every new customer can get 10% off their first order.

This is a great addition since everything listed is at a discount already. I like the variety they have and I hope they can expand it to even more products. I found that I was unable to add things to my wish list though as I browsed the home page. You have to click on the listing itself to add it to your wish list or cart. And then, the only way I could get something off was if it were ordered. So after I compared the products that I saw I might be interested in, I couldn't narrow it down as I read the description of each one.

I was a little confused at first about the ordering process. I had a code for $20.00 to use as part of the review. Knowing that what I was ordering was under $20, I wasn't sure at first that the amount left over would be added to the shipping which was just $2 flat rate (SUPER CHEAP SHIPPING!). After entering my card info though, it came out of the remainder.

So be patient as you order if you get a gift card code or such. The website overall is easy to use. Everything is clearly described with as much detail as to be expected. Pictures give you a pretty good idea of what you are considering buying. 

I think it's great that the shipping is a cheap flat rate, but it takes a long wait. I ordered on June 29th. And it arrived on the 14th of July. It's your average pleather-like purse. Not much to say about the item itself.

Happy Birthday Candle review and giveaway!

Birthdays are supposed to be magical. Growing up, my mother tried to make every birthday I had, a special event that I would remember. These days, there are so many ways to build up those happy memories. I've been to parties with bounce houses, photo booths, dance party themes... There are so many ideas and things out there to make someone's birthday truly special. But the best part of any birthday party? The time for cake! Who cares what Johnny got, Mom! I'm ready for cake. And that wonderfully fun moment of having everyone sing to only you!

A very unique candle that plays the Happy Birthday song while spinning. Its rather awesome. I took a blue one on my trip to my parents house this past week. My younger brother had his birthday while we were visiting. I thought it would be cool to try out while there. I have to admit, even after the singing ended and he blew out the candles we were still laughing and enjoying the candle. When you light the candle, it shoots up like a sparkler, dazzling and beautiful. The music plays and you can join in with song. As it spins, the flower opens up and reveals all the other candles, neatly lit. I absolutely loved it!

Let's build memories with specialized books from Twigtale!

As a mom, I love promoting my children to learn. I want to build their self worth views and let them grow with memories of love and happiness. As such, I enjoy building photo books for them. Things that make you happy, keep you well, and provide that warm fuzzy feeling that is typically associated with love. That's what real love is. But how do you explain that to a child? This book tells the story of love in pictures of the child with the parents/caregivers feeding, changing, bathing, hugging, teaching and otherwise "loving" the child.

This is how children learn, by seeing and hearing. Especially at younger ages.
I chose to make my book for my youngest. Uploading the pictures was a snap. The book is completely ready and all you have to do is adjust which wording you want, such as names and age. Then put the pictures that best match the wording on each page. Its short and simple. They provide you with a list of which kinds of pictures you should have ready. This helps you to know what to expect when getting ready to build your book. I highly suggest checking the list against your photos before attempting to make the book. 
Each book is only $20. Plus shipping which is about $5.50 and is priority. After making my book, it took a week (or less) to be made and shipped! There are several books to choose from for just about every stage you might go through with your little ones. Transitions that may be difficult for your child such as potty training, new siblings or starting school. 

So about my book. I love how well it's made. Great binding. The colors are vibrant and the printing is so nice. 

I love the way it's written out. The thought that was put into it's wording is really special. Telling my daughter I love her won't put it into perspective. Not like letting her see pictures with explanations of how I care by changing her diaper and clothes.

It's in the way I give her a bath to help her stay clean. It's how she gets her morning hug. She also knows we are thinking about her even when she sleeps. I'm very pleased with the shipping. Using priority might cost a little more, but it's going to get here quicker.
