Fun times ahead!

I'm off for this weekend. So I'm trying to fill it with fun before heading back to work on Monday. I started off with a yard sale. Why is it, I can plan everything out but my yard sales tend to be wrecked or doomed to failure still? Today it was the rain again. I made about $11 before the rain got so bad I had to shut the garage and call it quits.
So now I'm inside sorting Legos for my husband until its time to leave for a family event. Today, check your local Toys R Us for a fun Lego build! Its all about the Star Wars Rebels and building a Mini Ghost Ship. Its from 12-2 PM while supplies last. Plus kids can try out the new Inquisitor's Saber!
After we get home from this, I hope to get my hair cut or trimmed... Wondering how layers would do on medium length hair. Hmm.... And then I'm off to catch an afternoon movie with a friend of mine.
How many of you plan to see Dracula Untold? I know what some people would say, Another Dracula movie? Or perhaps, you don't watch vampire flicks do you?? So here it is... Dracula was a story written by Bram Stoker. It was one of the three top monster classics ever written. To this day, Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Wolf Man have been remade in so many ways as the best of the classic horror tales. Dracula's character was based off Vlad III, or Vlad the Impaler, Prince of Wallachia (now Romania). A ruthless man indeed, he sparked many tales of horror and evils. Across Romania, practices of unburying the dead and staking them in the heart remained until within the last 10 years. So while I'm not a follower of various vampire flicks, this is one that rings possibly closer to the true events than others and has sparked an interest. Besides, who doesn't like hanging out with someone fun on your day off?

  1. Did you know that Dracula's real life castle is up for sale? I think it is only $10 million. It still receives tourists. Wow! Oh and they just found what they believe to be the prison which Vlad was kept. Interesting.

    1. He actually had two castles. One was his personal home (I think this is the one for sale) while the other was for his time as leader. I plan to do a little more research into Vlad as it is a gruesome but fascinating subject to me.
